No. Pose Flow does not use ChatGPT, image generation, or any cloud-based AI. All pose matching is done on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is "AI-generated."

No — it's a coach, not a replacement. Think of it as a pocket-sized assistant that helps you direct yourself or someone else into better poses.

• Download from the App Store.
• Open the app and tap through the onboarding (takes under a minute).

No. You can use Pose Flow without creating an account. Your photos and progress are stored on your device. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and only needed if you want to back up your progress.

Yes. You can import your own reference photos as custom poses from your Photo Library and use them in your shoot sets alongside built-in poses.

Yes. Pro subscribers get access to new pose packs as they're released — seasonal, trend-driven, and user-requested.

When you open the camera with a pose selected, the app compares your real-time body position to the reference pose using Apple Vision's body detection. A live score (0–100%) updates as you move, so you can adjust before snapping the shot.

70% or higher is a great result. Don't stress about hitting 100% — the score is a guide, not a grade. A 70%+ score means you're in a flattering, on-reference position.

• Timer: Yes — 2s, 5s, or 10s self-timer, available from the camera quick-settings.
• Volume button shutter: Yes — press your iPhone's volume button to capture.

Yes — RAW, HEIF, and JPEG are all supported. Aspect ratios: 1:1 Square, 4:5 (Instagram portrait), and 16:9 (cinematic wide). Change format in Settings → Camera → Photo Quality.

Photos are saved to the in-app gallery on your device. They are not automatically added to your Photo Library — you can export them manually whenever you like.

Every photo is scored across six metrics:

• Pose Alignment — how closely you matched the reference
• Expression — facial expression quality
• Lighting — overall light balance
• Focus & Sharpness
• Background Cleanliness — distraction-free composition
• Subject Presence — whether you're clearly in frame

Photos are then sorted into Hero Shots, Hero-Ready, and Practice Picks.

They're deleted along with the app. We recommend exporting any keepers to your Photo Library before uninstalling.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID: iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Pose Flow. You can cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Pose Flow purchase, and request a refund. Apple makes the final decision.

Tap Settings → Restore Purchases in the app. This re-syncs your subscription status from Apple. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase.

Yes. If you have Apple Family Sharing enabled, Pose Flow Pro subscriptions can be shared with your family group (up to five members).

No. All pose matching, photo analysis, and scoring happens on your iPhone. Your photos never leave your device unless you manually share or export them.

Pose Flow uses Apple's Vision framework — the same on-device technology that powers Face ID and iOS Portrait Mode. It's technically "AI", but it runs entirely on your phone. There is no connection to OpenAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any other cloud AI service.

No. We do not sell, rent, or monetise your personal information. Ever.

No. Pose Flow does not participate in cross-app tracking. You will not see an App Tracking Transparency prompt because we don't do that kind of tracking.

Yes. Delete the app from your device and all local data is removed. If you created an account, contact info@poseflow.app to delete your account data (we'll respond within 30 days).

No. Pose Flow works fully in guest mode — no account required.

Yes. Email info@poseflow.app with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll remove your account data within 30 days (GDPR-compliant).

Not at launch. We're focused on perfecting the iPhone experience first. iPad and Android are on our long-term roadmap.

Yes — the core app (pose library, camera, matching, scoring, gallery) works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for sharing to social media and managing your subscription.

Real-time pose matching is GPU-intensive, so extended camera sessions will use more battery than simple photo apps. For longer shoots, we recommend a power bank or wall charger.
